Beverly Herman-Rivera, RD, CDE,: Beverly Herman-Rivera is a successful nutritionist in private practice in Glen Rock, New Jersey with over 25 years of experience working with adults, teens and children. She is a Registered Dietitian and Certified Diabetes Educator. As a dietitian and diabetes educator, Beverly has counseled people with diabetes, gastrointestinal disorders, cardiovascular disease, as well as for weight loss and general wellness. She has traveled extensively and lived in Latin America and offers her bi-lingual and cross-cultural skills to the Spanish speaking community. She offers Medical Nutrition Therapy that is designed to improve the client’s relationship with food and with self. Healthy nutrition is emphasized, with disease treatment and prevention incorporated.
Beverly serves on the professional council for D-Life TV and she shares her expertise with the dLife on-line community by answering questions for the "ask an expert" section of the website. She was the 2005 Women’s History Month Honoree for the 35th district receiving Legislative District, Senate & congressional recognition for community service. Beverly is a member of the American Dietetic Association as well as the American Association of Diabetes Educators.
